Alan Walker – ‘Alone‘ – Norwegian producer Alan Walker releases his third single ‘Alone‘ along with accompanying music video via Sony Music Sweden and RCA Records. The song was co-written by Noonie Bao and the video was directed by Bror Bror.
Alan Walker says about his latest release, “To me, ‘Alone‘ is a song about togetherness; a song that praises the feeling and comfort of solidarity. When I started doing music it was never about being someone, but about creating something for others to enjoy with me. The unity I’ve experienced through making music and sharing it with people is incredible.” The single, which releases one year after the release of his breakthrough hit single ‘Faded,’ is now available through all digital service providers.
The 19-year-old Norwegian producer Alan Walker has emerged on the global music scene as one of the most successful artists of 2016. His record breaking single ‘Faded‘ was released in December 2015 and has sold more than 9.4 million sold units worldwide, has received more than 1.3 billion streams and the video has over 771 million views on YouTube. It entered the Billboard Hot 100 in the US and is certified gold and platinum in more than 23 countries.
His second single ‘Sing Me To Sleep‘ has garnered over 100 million streams and over 131 million views on YouTube. This summer, Alan toured all across Europe and performed at various festivals including Tomorrowland in Belgium and Creamfields in the UK and supported Rihanna during her European leg of her ANTI World Tour.
Growing up in the digital era, Alan found an early interest in computers that later turned into a fascination for programming and graphic design. In 2012 he started making music on his laptop with the help and feedback from his online friends. His music gained great popularity among gamers who used Alan’s tracks in their own YouTube videos (UGC). The songs spread all over the world and later caught the attention of the record labels.
