FTampa – ‘Strike It Up‘ – Remix Package – Last year, FTampa took a fresh new perspective on his music with the release of, ‘Strike It Up,’ an uplifting, melodic tune that stepped outside his comfort zone and made waves amongst his fans and industry tastemakers alike. “Strike It Up” possesses FTampa‘s signature energy coupled with a refined melody and gorgeous vocals that take the listener on a rollercoaster of feel good vibes. Now, he has invited some of his favorite fellow Brazilian producers to put their own twist on it, and the, “Strike It Up,” remix package is the result. Featuring six unique remixes by five different artists, the remix package has something for fans of every electronic dance subgenre. FTampa‘s fans will more than likely hear this new tune during his set at the iconic Tommorowland in Belgium, where FTampa will become the first Brazilian DJ to ever grace the festival’s main stage.
The playlist begins with a bass-driven, dubby remix by Rrotik; next up we have Seakret‘s funky, forward-thinking version followed by two different remixes from KVSH. KVSH‘s first version is a thumping, house-y banger, while his, “Going Down,” rendition is futuristic and spacey. After, D-Stroyer speeds up the tempo with q-dance vibes and heavy basslines before Iccarus finishes it up with some groovy beats. All of the remixes are different sounds, but none are lacking in quality. In addition to being able to produce top-notch music himself, FTampa has an eye for picking the best up and coming talent from his home country to join him as tastemakers for the Brazilian electronic scene and beyond.
