There is a brand new award series debuting this summer appropriately named the – Electronic Dance Music Awards or EDMA for short. From the creators of the Remix Awards comes the EDMAs, which will be voted on by the fans, industry professionals, and artists. Voting for the first-ever EDMAs is open now and will close on Friday, June 17, 2022. The awards will air virtually soon after the votes are in. You can begin casting your votes here.

Since getting their start in 2016, annually held during Miami Music Week/Winter Music Conference (WMC), the Remix Awards have paved the way for the introductory Electronic Dance Music Awards (EDMAs). From A-list DJs and producers to rising & up-and-coming talent, the EDMAs will award Dance Song of the Year, Artist of the Year, Label of the Year, Producer of the Year, Best Festival Series, Best Live Stream, and many more.
This year’s nominees include the likes of Tiësto, David Guetta, Diplo, Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Swedish House Mafia, Hardwell, deadmau5, Afrojack, Kaskade, Rezz, Eric Prydz, Black Coffee, Steve Aoki, Alesso, ILLENIUM, Becky Hill, Galantis, Sam Feldt, Robin Schulz, Alan Walker, Nervo, Joel Corry, Tate McRae, MNEK, R3HAB, Sigala, Shermanology, and plenty more. The EDMA 2022 Achievement Award will be given to the founder of Insomniac Events and one of the industry’s leading players, Pasquale Rotella. Some of the other categories that fans and industry professionals can vote on include, “Dance Song of the Year” with artists like John Summit and Hardwell in for the running, “Artist of the Year”, “Best Collaboration”, “Best Female Artist”, “Best Vocalist”, “Best New Artist” and more.

Voting Info/Rules:
The EDMA’s are decided by the fans. Anyone worldwide will be able to participate and vote for their favorite artists in the various categories. To prevent double voting, the system prevents automated bot responses with Captcha protections and/or by password, IP, and email restrictions. Any artist or artist team attempting to manipulate votes with “bots” will be disqualified. The EDMAs reserve all rights to cancel, terminate, amend, modify, extend or suspend the voting process, and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the winners if necessary due to fraudulent votes or other necessary unforeseen circumstances. Voting closes June 17, 2022.
