SILO Brooklyn will honor the history of house music with performances by African American artists Todd Terry and Derrick Carter throughout the month of March.
On March 18th, African American house legend, Todd Terry will be taking over SILO and throwing down his latest house tracks. Followed by Derrick Carter who will take the stage at SILO on March 24th. Derrick Carter recently appeared on The Daily Show’s ‘Beyond The Scenes’ podcast, discussing the Forgotten Black and Queer History of House Music. It is a history that too few people know about, and one that the Brooklyn nightclub SILO is spreading awareness of through its events.
