Just when you thought Ofenbach‘s feel-good smash ‘Head Shoulders Knees & Toes‘ couldn’t get any bigger, along comes a superlative remix from the mighty Robin Schulz. The German DJ/producer has multiple hits under his name, such as his latest release “All We Got” featuring KIDDO.
Schulz transforms the dark-edged house of the original version into something triumphant and joyous, giving the vocal a whole new lease of life. He colours the intro with an orchestral string section, and gives a nod to the original with his bassline. The strings return to lift the chorus higher, injecting a little disco energy into the proceedings. Big piano chords add feeling to the breakdown, and sizzling hi-hats give a sense of urgency. It’s one to get those fists pumping, and just the sort of high-energy goodness the world can do with right now.
