One of the year’s biggest hits from David Guetta & Sia just keeps getting bigger thanks to another remix. This time the focus is on Brazil, with Vintage Culture and Fancy Inc teaming up to deliver a monstrous rework of the gorgeous ‘Let’s Love’. The remix kicks off with Sia’s dazzling vocals unfolding over ’80s electro-pop-tinged synths and a teasing sense of atmosphere. As the chorus hits, huge snare hits filter into play and the synth magic keeps building to a dizzying crescendo. An enormous, bleeping, arpeggiated electro bassline thrusts into the track out of nowhere, tunnelling its way through a tense, dramatic soundscape that’s sprinkled with a little slow-burning trance magic. It takes the original into a darker place, and one built for those that like their dance music to really thump.
Vintage Culture has been blazing a trail through the scene thanks to collabs with the likes of Tiësto and remixes for the likes of Maverick Sabre, Jorja Smith and Robin Schulz, with over 7.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify. This remix is the latest collab between him and fellow Brazilian duo, Fancy Inc, who have been doing amazing work on Spinnin’ Records and Musical Freedom amongst others.
‘Let’s Love’ hit #1 on the iTunes Global Chart, #1 on the USA Dance Radio Chart, #2 on the European Radio Chart, #6 on the Shazam Global Chart and has picked up over 90 million video plays and streams to date, 22 million YouTube views, and 1 billion #LetsLove on TikTok.
