We’re full of love for the new EP from Borgeous and Jared Watson, which sees a release today. The guys worked together in the past on the track ‘Switch Blade,’ and their styles complement each other well. They bring us five tracks under the Indica Eyes title, and we’re into the whole set.
You can soak up a soaring vocal on the opener and title track, before getting lost in the more subtle and flickering tones of ‘Medicine,’ and climbing back up again on ‘Anxiety.’ The bold ‘Nowhere’ still sounds incredible, and the EP closes with the effortless power-pop single ‘Lay It On Me.’ Borgeous shares: “Jared and myself decided to work again on a project after we worked on a track for my ‘Dear Me’ EP. I also did some remixes for the Dirty Heads, so that’s how we began our friendship. I love working with him: he’s humble, easy going and easy to work with. We ended up with 5 songs and decided to put together this collab EP.”
