American producer and DJ Mako is giving us something to immerse ourselves with this week. Whilst we wait for his next album, Alex Seaver releases one of its singles, ‘Parable,’ this week through Ultra Music.
An artist with an emotionally articulate approach to making music, he has a play around with fresh styles and time signatures for this track. Speaking on it, he reveals: “I had a lot of fun with this record, working with different instruments and strange time signatures. I don’t think that there are that many songs which come out each week that are in 7/8 and feature a Bulgarian Chant from the Middle Ages!”
