New to ODESZA’s Foreign Family Collective label is the unbelievably captivating Good Company EP from producers ford., Sonn and Hanz. The solo artists had previously exchanged some work via Skype but got together in Seattle create this epic six-track collection.
From the subtle murmurs of ‘Intro,’ the progressive tones of ‘Waiting’ flicker in. ‘The Feeling’ is a deeply soulful, vocal-led piece featuring Ralph Castelli, and lingers long after the track finishes. There is further melancholy with ‘Home’ and ‘U Stay,’ whilst ‘Endsong’ wraps up proceedings with some uplifting touches.
