We’re championing the sounds of twocolors again this week, as they release ‘Mexico’ through Spitfire Music/SPV. Not too long after the release of their ‘Make It Louder’ with The Dead Daisies, they return with the band’s contribution once again.
It’s another punchy sound that ripples out of the speakers with aplomb and sharp musicality. The boys, who are currently based in Berlin, say:
“It’s the second time that we have worked with the guys from The Dead Daisies. The original ‘Mexico’ song sounds like a classic rock anthem with some twists from other genres. We tried to give it an 80s vibe with a melodic hook and a modern electronic touch to add some festival flavour. It’s cool to use a rough voice in a dance track. This makes it unique (in a good way) and keeps the mojo high!”
