If you’re looking for the cream de la creme in the current dubstep game then look no further than New Orleans producer Boogie T. Over the past 12 months Brock Thornton, better known as Boogie T, has gone from a rising star from one of the leading producers around – projects have seen him working with Ganja White Night , Subtronics MONXX and many more.
This week Boogie has returned with a brand new four-track EP entitled Old Gold and it should come as no surprise that he brings the heat with every release. Consistently building a name for himself in the dubstep, riddim, and bass scene, these tracks take things to the next level with an ever-evolving sound.
‘Bad Man Choon’ makes for a languid introduction, leading into the wonky drum beats and breakdown of ‘Mountain G.O.A.T’ that offers a real bite. ‘Duck Duck Goose’ has a nursery rhythm edge to it before a massive collaboration with SubDocta on ‘Bambaataa,’ rounds off the EP nicely.
Boogie T has delivered yet again with Old Gold and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2020!
