New Music Friday is upon us and if your looking for a pure pop / indie track then German band Rikas have delivered with their new single ‘Fanny Pack Party.’ We were intrigued by the title alone…
Describing their essence as “Swabian Samba,” the guys combine soulful pop hooks with a generous dose of disco, jazz and indie. There’s a coolness felt here, and even though you’re not going to get off your seat to it, their psychedelic-sounding vocals alongside their guitar riff-heavy atmosphere is more than enough to have you listening to the work to the very end.
