Just out on Ultra Music is an unmissable set of three remakes from Crankdat, Effin and Holy Goof respectively. The fine production talents have put their creative minds to remixing ‘Redlight,’ originally made by NGHTMRE and US rapper A$AP Ferg.
There is wicked variety on display within this release, and the tune is given completely new vibes that leap from the speakers. Crankdat weighs in first with a heavy, percussive edit, before Effin follows suit with a trap-inspired vibe that moves with intensity and dramatic builds. Holy Goof’s bass/house remake is probably the standout, and will get you bouncing with its uptempo groove.
