Roaming from ProgRAM this week onwards is a double-sided release from drum & bass producer Kallan HK. Making it the second time she has served up sounds on the label, both ‘Flight Path’ and ‘Future Shock’ are incredibly strong releases in their own right.
‘Flight Path’ takes the lead and is wonderfully melodic and dancefloor-centric. Filled with dynamic builds and a fluttering bassline, it runs with wicked fluidity and flow. On the other side is the chunkier ‘Future Shock,’ building up to its twisted bass snarls and steppy beats with utmost precision.
