Showing off the extent of his creativity this week is the mysterious producer TLZMN. He has gifted a seven-track EP titled Sanctum, which sees a release through Liquid Stranger’s thriving label Wakaan.
A rising talent, with tunes like ‘Culture Shock Sound’ and ‘The Hood’ under his belt, Sanctum is a chance to get to know him a little better. With a distinctive blend of D&B and hip-hop, the EP explores a vast array of themes – moving from the super heavy (‘Battle Drums’) to the rolling intro cut ‘No Obstacle’.
Talking through the collection, TLZMN says: “To discover, compose and create in a world immersed in darkness, one must derive true intention through the darkness from powers within. Most honored, our Sanctum within. Sorcery is actualized when self-awareness is formulated, guarded and developed.”
