Bart B More – ‘Superzoom‘ – Ever inventive, Bart B More serves up another unusual slice of dancefloor magic on his new single ‘Superzoom.’ Already featured as an ID on the Martin Garrix Radio Show and Don Diablo‘s show too, it already has a lot of hype surrounding it. As you might have guessed, the track was inspired by the Instagram filter of the same name, with its distinctive, dramatic motif at the heart of this track.
‘Superzoom‘ is structured on one of Bart‘s classic bouncy house grooves, with slices of those ‘Superzoom‘ strings teased in the intro as a mischievous bassline rises up. The full cascading string riff is unleashed to signal the first drop, with the kicks and bass slamming into play in unison. Big snare rolls, indecipherable vocal cuts and skippy percussion all add to the groove. Finally a wonky, pitch-bending synth riff cuts in, nagging away at your brain like an electro earworm. Very fresh, very groovy, very different—everything you’d hope for from a Bart B More production.
‘Superzoom‘ follows in the footsteps (or should that be dancesteps?) of his previous STMPD RCRDS releases ‘Lights Out‘ and The Street EP, making a superb trio of releases for Martin Garrix‘ label.
