Otherwise known as Oliver Symons, Warhola has a new single and official video out. ‘Promise,’ which will be the lead single from his keenly awaited Young Loving LP, now has a visual that sees direction from Marie Wynants and Stef Aerts.
The concept behind the video was to show a dark comparison to the melodic track. It depicts Symons’ struggle to break out of confined spaces and corners, showing how he is being pushed to his edge.
Wynants and Aerts say of it: “We wanted to put the focus on translating the feelings to the locations, which is reflected in the setting. The transformation between light and dark is characteristic for the video.”
