D-Wayne – ‘Ghost‘ – You can always count on Afrojack‘s WALL Recordings to keep you guessing with its incredibly diverse output of party jams. This latest beast from D-wayne is an absolute monster of a track that really stands out from the crowd.
An epic trap & dubstep infused track, ‘Ghost‘ builds with eerie string melodies and sharp half-time beats before a manic ragga vocal gets chopped up in hectic style for the powerful build. The drop hits hard with a soaring bassline cutting through the track like a chainsaw, then alternately stuttered into a frenzied slo-mo reggaeton-esque rhythm. The mid-section introduces a darkly-tinged, infectious riff which is soon sucked back into the depths of the track as the huge bass drop hits again. The production is immense, with deft touches of FX trickery making things even more intense.
