Wiwek – ‘Drum Nation‘ – Dutch producer Wiwek has announced his new Drum Nation EP, with the thrilling news that it will be dropping July 21st on OWSLA. Drum Nation represents the most focused vision of Wiwek‘s pioneering “jungle terror” genre, offering a blend of Dutch house, Indian-inspired rhythms, tribal drums, exotic bird calls and more made with an expansive, one-of-a-kind library of sounds that he’s been building for years.
Wiwek brings Atlanta production trio WatchTheDuck, Los Angeles rapper Finess, jungle pioneers Ragga Twins and Chinese producer, singer and instrumentalist Chace into the mix to complete the Drum Nation EP’s vibe of forward-thinking music. The EP’s five tracks are the most coherent statement of the jungle terror sound that brought Wiwek into the spotlight, the sound that earned him respect from peers and fans alike as one of the most unique producers today.
