Hamster – ‘City Limits‘ Video – Trap DJ and producer Hamster releases his gorgeously elegiac music video for ‘City Limits.’ Along with its accompanying music video, the new single conveys a sense of melancholy and isolation. At its core, the song is about leaving everything behind to move to a new city in hopes of “making it,” but finding strangers unwilling to help and the profound sense of loneliness that comes with being an outsider in a strange land.
Although he’s been writing and producing music for years, Hamster has only recently been releasing tracks under the moniker Hamster. The name Hamster comes from the illusion of moving forward rapidly only to discover you’re stuck in the proverbial Hamster wheel.
