Croatia Winter Music Festival – After a successful unprecedented seven events in seven days, the Croatia Winter Music Festival has finished all performances at the Zagreb Arena for the year. Running from December 31st to January 6th, the week long event brought in over 25,000 people from all around the world to see some of the industry’s biggest talents such as Armin van Buuren, Sander van Doorn, R3hab, Felix Jaehn, MOTi, Headhunterz and more.

Armin van Buuren started the new year with the Zagreb 360° New Year’s Eve party, which he celebrated with over 10,000 fans and was joined by artists Sander van Doorn, MOTi and Juicy M. For those that didn’t get the opportunity to attend, he specially live-streamed the event on Facebook for over 650,000 people who ended up tuning in.



Croatia Winter Music Festival featured a first time ever gaming competition, with both professionals and fans facing off to win prizes in several games such as Hearthstone, League of Legends, Overwatch and FIFA 17 on January 2nd-3rd. There was a whopping €15,000 ($16,000) up for grabs across the competitions with more than 80,000 watching online.

With the first year proving to be a large success, fans of the Croatia Winter Music Festival can expect details of the next edition of the event to be announced later this year in March. Names of the first performers can be expected to be even bigger and better for the year of 2017!
