Party Thieves – 100k #TheftArmy – DJ, producer and #TheftArmy frontman Party Thieves has officially announced an Australian Residency for 2017 at Pacha and The Met, making him one of the first American DJs to conquer this territory.
The New York-based producer (real name Jared McFarlin) will be traveling Down Under every two months to booth up at famed Aussie nightclubs Pacha Sydney and The Met in Brisbane, as well as a handful of other venues around the continent. Party Thieves is set to headline his own shows for the debut run, but his international residency will eventually expand into his own curated night featuring handpicked artists from around the world.
To celebrate this major career milestone as well as reaching 100K followers on SoundCloud and thank his loyal #TheftArmy fans for continuous support, Party Thieves put together an exclusive 30-minute 100K #TheftArmy mix. Sticking true to his namesake party-starting style, Party Thieves blends his original tracks with fresh remixes of some of his favorite heavy-hitting tunes to create an upbeat, bass-fueled concoction. Representative of today’s modern electronic landscape and fusing sounds from across genres, Jared samples a variety of vocals, slashing synths, and dirty trap beats to create a fiery pump-up mix guaranteed to get you going.

If that’s not enough to celebrate, the party don also sold out the renowned Belasco Theatre in LA earlier this month — marking one of his most successful shows to date. A solo artist from New York, Party Thieves has swiftly made his presence known in the dance community by producing massive remixes and originals that have garnered support from artists such as RL Grime, Skrillex, Diplo, TJR, Adventure Club and Flosstradamus, just to name a few.
Party Thieves also made his presence known beyond the electronic realm when a video of his Mannequin Challenge at his show with Mashd N Kutcher at Pacha Sydney went viral, hitting over 1.6 million views on Facebook alone.
