Hey everyone! We’ve got something interesting and brand new today – the DEFQON 1 EP, with MC Coppa. The four-track release features Coppa’s vocals, and features Current Value, Agressor Bunx, L 33, and MachineCode.
You can buy the EP on Bandcamp here: http://subsistenz.bandcamp.com/album/coppa-presents-defcon-1
Before you do that, though – check each of the tracks out now!
These four songs hit hard and come out swinging – so prepare yourself for a bit of a different adventure.
- Coppa and Agressor Bunx – Bear Fight
Can a name for a song get any cooler than this? I like the style of this song a lot. It’s kind of hard to describe. It’s not minimal, but it also has some minimal elements about it. It’s not just hard-to-follow madness. It is what it is. And it’s really fun.

- Coppa and CurrentValue – Calling You
To be totally frank , this is, in my opinion, a very strange song. The vocals are pretty unique. My favorite part of this song is definitely that reese.

- Coppa and L 33 – Black Ops
The intro to this is really quite nice. Possibly my favorite on the EP. The high snare is refreshing, and every aspect of the bass is amazing. ‘Black Ops’ also features my favorite vocals of any of the four songs. Good stuff!

- Coppa and MachineCode – Thunder & Lightning
With a darker feel than the others, this song certainly has elements that set it apart from everything else. This one goes for the more intense percussion feel, and a rather intense feel over the whole song. Very heavy hitting and a great listen, “Thunder & Lightning” is a unique, awesome production that deserves attention.
