Joshua Mellody, A.K.A Zomboy, is best known for his Brostep and Heavy Bass music. We came to know Zomboy with his release of the Game Time EP in 2011. Over the course of the last four to five years we have come to know Zomboy’s signature sound in Brostep as well. Now, with his newly released EP, Neon Grave EP, Zomboy shows us some more of the same and, something new. One track that sticks out from the barrage of riddim and heavy basslines is “Miles Away ft Nefera”. Nefera, who worked with TroyBoi seven months ago, lends her flawless voice for this new track that is sure to be the next festival banger. “Miles Away” sounds almost like Zomboy’s take on the ever popular “Lean On” from Major Lazer. Both tracks feature a tropical vibe, trap influences and a flawless vocal hook. Will this new sound be a sneak preview of the next sound we can expect from Zomboy? Give it a listen below
