Maxx and Trevor are two brothers from the Netherlands, who really enjoy the harder elements of EDM. Their songs generally contain a pretty heavy bass, which they use to carry the track. Coffee Time is no different. They open the song with nicely written plucks, and before you know it, that old school dubstep type of bass enters the mix. I actually really like the drop in this track, it’s written rather well, and their bass work is quite admirable. The vocals in between the drops gives you a pretty decent time to relax, before they bring back the energy. The biggest thing holding this song back, however, is its mixing. It’s not very well done, and takes away from the great production that the brothers put into the track. In my opinion, if the track was redone with proper mixing, it would be a banger.
