Next up on ‘Rising Talent’ is Jonnie King with his own remake of Jamie XX’s track ‘Gosh’. After playing the track out in the clubs, Jonnie King felt that he had to do some adjustments. After adding elements and other samples made on his own, the Re-worked version of ‘Gosh’ goes out huge and creates an amazing atmosphere for you to enjoy. These are words from the producer himself:
Jamie XX’s “Gosh” really struck a chord with me, but it was lacking the dance-floor appeal I needed to play it out at gigs. I rethought the arrangement and introduced some new elements to give the record the driving force it was missing.
Jonnie King’s re-worked version of ‘Gosh’ is what the EDM World needs. This is unique and new thinking. Hopefully other producer’s can follow in Jonnie King’s footsteps to create more of this amazing sounding music.
