Hardwell, together with Armin Van Buuren, have finally released their first collaboration titled ‘Off The Hook “Next Level” ‘. Premiered on both ‘Hardwell On Air’ and ‘A State Of Trance’ this original track expresses both their unique styles to equal a perfect collaboration. Both Armada and Revealed are releasing this track, you can choose to purchase from either label.
‘Off The Hook’ starts with with a massive lead and starts to build up into the big-room-esque drop. Dropping into what sounds like a part of the track Armin was not involved in. The next break really introduces the trance, its sounds like Hardwell made 0.00-2:30 and then Armin Van Buuren from 2:30 to 5:27.
Many trance fans are against this track saying it’s not trance and more like ‘trouse’ (trance + house). The track is a mix of both genres, if you don’t like a particular genre just skip that part, its not a big deal. In business terms mixing these genres will reach and appeal to a wider audience.
