Next up on Rising Talent is David Mack, a Kansas-based producer who makes what he calls “Indie House Music,” which he refers to as “Tropical House with an Edge.” His new remix of “Good For You” by Selena Gomez definitely shows off his unique style. Starting off with a simple piano and chillstep-styled drums, with more tropical influences and bass fading into the song progressively, until a guitar break from Selena Gomez’s lyrics, a sharp and defined electric guitar. It’s hard to describe the track in a sense, as many different sounds of different genres are blending together all at once, but that doesn’t mean the song isn’t good in any way. The song is a fantastic blend of sound, with an overall funky tone and good vibes.
