As part of an ongoing remix competition via Spinnin Records, Kivrak remixed the recently released song “Shades of Grey” from Oliver Heldens and Shaun Frank. The remix inherits the mostly chill vibe from the original song, yet with a few key differences. The original has a much more funky, deep house style to it’s track, whilst the Kivrak remix is a much more chill styled song, with a more progressive house style. Kivrak also gives the song a whole new breath of life with various organic sounds, such as pianos, more natural drums, fretless bass, and string instruments.
Turkish producer Kivrak absolutely kills it with his new remix, preserving the chill vibes from the original track, yet giving it a jazzier, much more organic sound to it, with a different style of house to mix it up further. Although certainly not a typical dance track, this is certainly one all can enjoy, whether or not you typically like this style.
