Famba & Trove – ‘Wish You Well‘ – Dance music DJ and producer Famba has become one of Canada’s fastest-rising electronic artists on the strength of his major label releases and widespread remixes. His latest offering is a dance-floor friendly re-work of his latest single, ‘Wish You Well‘ featuring Australian singer and songwriter, Trove. ‘Wish You Well‘ (Club Mix) featuring Trove is now out via SIN, a division of Sony Music International.
Lyrically, the song is immensely engaging for anyone that has dealt with the drama of a love gone wrong, painting an authentic picture that is vivid and sympathetic. In the Club Mix, the message of the song is complemented with a beat-driven Future Bass track that reveals Famba‘s Dance music roots where he cut his teeth releasing on dance labels such as Spinnin‘s SOURCE and Armada.
In his behind the scenes video on the Club Mix, Famba says that he plans on making Club mixes of all of his singles going forward, “I started [making music] to be a Dance music DJ, and I really wanted something that will fit into my DJ sets. Doing a Club mix of all my songs is the best way to balance the pop side of things with the dance music side of things.” Watch the video here.
Upon its international release ‘Wish You Well‘ caught the attention of outlets such as Pop Muzik, Noble Vybe, Daily Beat, with Earmilk calling the song, “a heart-wrenchingly pure song, incredibly evocative and instantly relatable. Driven with the classic effervescence of pop music, the artists combine their multi-faceted talents for a dazzling track that illuminates the authentic feelings conveyed through the simple yet robust lyrics.”
The song is already on its way to becoming a certified hit in Famba‘s home country of Canada where the song has spent 14 weeks on the Top 40 chart and currently ranks in the top 20.
