Another rising talent artist, Wildcat has some new future beats with his track “Lion.” Taking inspiration from flume and other similar future style artists, Wildcat does many unique things with his track. From trippy drum beats to room-filling saws, and funky future bass sounds to dark trip hop styles, this song truly does something unique. With multiple transitions into vastly different styles and sounds, this song does not bore easily, as one thing quickly becomes the next.
With shifting time signatures and an off-beat aesthetic, “Lion” is certainly a song to behold and enjoy. Although not immediately lovable, the song quickly grows on you, a chill and ethereal sound wrapping the track all together.
