Let’s face it; Tha Trickaz aren’t new to the electronic music scene. Chances are, you’ve heard of at least one of their tracks by now, and if you’ve read my articles on DropTheBassline, you’ve read about one. Their style often changes with welcome additions from their sound design, general ideas and moods of their pieces, and their genres; but this is something I haven’t seen from them, nor have I seen from many before. The best word I know that can fit this is “epic”- in the sense that it uses heroic chord progression which fits perfectly with the art supplied on their label, Otodayo Sūpa. The mood created by the piece is simply something that you don’t see in this future bass and hip hop, if you can even call it that as the label did on its SoundCloud. Now, I could sit here and type about this piece for hours, but it’s one of those tracks that you have to listen to in order to understand what I’m talking about; so, I’ll let the music do the talking.
