Amsterdam Dance Event 2017 Highlights – The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), the world’s largest club festival and the most important business conference for electronic music, has completed its program. Between the 18th and the 22nd of October a record-breaking 2,500 artists and 550 speakers will perform at 450 + events over 5 days in Amsterdam. The organizers expect to welcome over 375,000 visitors for the 22nd edition.

In 2016, ADE played host to over 2,200 artists and 550 speakers in 140 locations. In addition to the growth of the extensive night program, the organization is also focused on the further expansion of its daytime and early evening activities. The day program this year has added technology conference ADE Tech and the ADE Hangover to its growing array of daytime activities.
As well as being an event to see the best DJ’s from all over the world in some of the coolest venues the ADE day program covers everything from music, art, gear, tech, film, talks, pop-up and conference and networking program. Speakers include; Boys Noize, Gary Newman, Hardwell, Irvine Welsh, Joris Voorn, Kenny Dope, Kiasmos, Modeselektor, Nadya Tolokonnikova, Nina Kraviz, Oliver Heldens, Philip Glass, Shelly Finkel, Soulwax, Riga and many more.

This forward-looking and liberal-minded country also has a healthy club scene with venues specialising in house music, hip hop and techno thriving throughout the country.
ADE Soundlab
There are some great artists participating this year including; Boys Noize, DVS1, Gary Newman, Surgeon, Lady Starlight, Oliver Heldens, Tiga, Soulwax.
ADE Green
‘Art for social change’ is this year’s central theme of the conference track on innovation, sustainability and social change with speakers including Pussy Riot‘s Nadya Tolokonnikova.
Irvine Welsh Keynote
Acclaimed author of Trainspotting joins in on conversation.
Mental Health
Industry luminaries including Juan Atkins, Christine Brown, Ben Pearce and Pig & Dan share thoughts on the topic of mental health supported by the AFEM.
ADE Tech
The inaugural edition will showcase the future of tech.
ADE Beats
The Jillionaire, Amp Fiddler and Leila Fataar will be present at the annual international platform for hip-hop, bass and beats.
