If you haven’t already discovered the new UZ LP, then get to know before the weekend kicks in. The trap/bass/future producer and DJ is right up there with the best of the best, and has been ever since he curated his ‘Trap Shit’ series several years ago.
Since then, he has given his brand a bit of a shake up; not to mention starting up his own record label, Quality Goods Records. His performance mask that shrouds his identity has been remastered and he takes a newly imagined set of visuals on tour with him this summer. Most importantly, his album, The Rebirth is something completely remarkable.
Nine tracks of bubbling energy and frenetic basslines have been pooled together to create this collection. Collaborators include the likes of Rome Fortune, Bok Nero and Macntaj, whilst he plays around with his own solo sound on tunes like ‘Mad’ and the wonky ‘Futon.’
