Thomas Gold – Revelation: Part 1 – Thomas Gold has released part one of his 2017 album, Revelation. Debuted on Armada Music, the first part of the LP represents a sense of maturity we haven’t seen in the DJ and producer quite yet, but still filled with flawless productions and attention to detail.
In the music industry, changing your genre blatantly is always a risky move, however it without a doubt paid off for Gold. Already released, Part 1’s lead single ‘Magic‘ has clocked up a staggering 25 million streams on Spotify alone, was aired on the world’s biggest radio stations and has been snapped up by major label partners. Support tracks ‘Saints & Sinners‘ and ‘Better Versions of Myself‘ look set to follow, while Gold has somehow managed to save the best for last in new singles ‘Survive‘ and ‘Sanctuary.’
Ultimately, Revelation: Part 1 is a story of change unfolding for a producer who is finding a new voice and the confidence to explore it. If this is what Part 1 has to offer, fans new and old of Thomas Gold should be very, very excited to hear Part 2.
