Mercer – ‘Contagious‘ – After Tchami‘s Confession label dropped two EPs back to back this week, Mercer is back for another appearance on the imprint with his remix for MALAA‘s single ‘Contagious.’ This is a massive remix that will undoubtedly be a favorite of long time label followers and newcomers alike.
MALAA‘s ‘Contagious‘ from a month ago or so took a dark tech-house tone, striking the attention of his following. Mercer‘s reinterpretation of the track riffs on the original vocal cut, adding in a lengthy build culminated with a bone-crushing drop. Less melodic than some of his previous releases, fans will appreciate his return to the heavier side of house, especially on Tchami‘s powerful label, Confession.
