There is good news for anyone interested in a monthly music subscription already subscribed to Amazon Prime. Now existing subscribers can begin paying a $7.99-per-month option to stream music through Amazon. Through this new pricing and covering a $2 difference, Amazon will pay signed record labels and artists $5.50 to $6 for each prime member who pays for a $7.99-per-month subscription and will also pay $1.50 a month to publishers and songwriters.

Remember that in order to be eligible for the $7.99-a-month music subscription, you have to have an Amazon Prime membership!
