After the announcement of the iPhone 7 in San Francisco’s Keynote today, the music and tech world has been given an update to Apple Music‘s figures. In just a little more than two months, Apple Music has gone from 15 million subscribers worldwide to a notable 17 million due to it’s continued usage of the, much talked about and much considered controversial, exclusives. Tim Cook cited that over 70 exclusive releases has now been hosted on Apple Music from a variety of stars such as Taylor Swift, Frank Ocean and Drake.

With Cook’s statement that “Apple Music is a premiere destination for new artists and existing artists to launch their exclusive music” and the fact that Apple Music‘s subscriber base has been consistently increasing, Apple is bound to continue it’s titan success.
